Welcome to the heart of the Villa
At Villa Marstrand, food, the sea, and people come together. Here, food is allowed to take its time and flavors speak for themselves. With the sea as a neighbor and the season as our guide, we prepare dishes that feel natural, comforting, and carefully crafted.
Fish, shellfish and coastal dishes are often the focus, but the menu offers more than that. A carefully crafted three-course dinner for evenings that can go long, but also a really good shrimp sandwich and other dishes that warm and satisfy without frills.
Whether you come in after a day by the sea or for dinner with someone you care about, we want it to feel like home. Come home to us at Villa Marstrand.
Beverages for the Meal
With the food, we offer a carefully selected wine list, where each wine is chosen to enhance the flavors on the plate. Whether you are looking for a glass that pairs perfectly with seafood or want to discover something new, we are happy to help you find the right one.
In the hotel bar, you can also relax with a cocktail, a glass of wine, or a cold beer, before or after dinner.
The Jetty
When summer arrives, we open Bryggan, our outdoor bar directly on the quay. Here you sit with the boats as your nearest neighbor and enjoy a glass of bubbles, a cold beer, or something delicious from the sea while the sun shines.
Open from 12:00 PM every day all summer long. No reservation is needed, just come by.
In collaboration with Hernö Gin
We collaborate with Hernö Gin, Sweden's first gin distillery and one of the world's most awarded. In the bar, you'll find their gin in several varieties, and our bartenders are happy to mix a classic Gin & Tonic or a cocktail based on what you are in the mood for.
Breakfast
Start your day by the sea. Our breakfast buffet features freshly baked bread, delicious cheeses and cold cuts, eggs, yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee, fine teas, and juice. Everything is served in the restaurant, which overlooks the harbor.
You can choose whether or not to include breakfast when booking your accommodation.
During the low season, the breakfast buffet is not available; instead, you can opt for our breakfast package, which is delivered to your room so you can enjoy it—for instance, out on the balcony.
Christmas Buffet
Celebrate Christmas by the sea. At Villa Marstrand, the Christmas buffet is served as a sharing menu directly to the table, featuring classic dishes and salmon from our own smokehouse. Choose between a Christmas buffet with an overnight stay or just the Christmas buffet.
